Description:The Granfondo Madeira Island is a non-competitive sporting event organised by Club Sport Marítimo, in accordance with the regulations of the Portuguese Cycling Federation and these regulations. This sporting event will not be competitive, but will be a leisure event of tourist, cultural and social interest that will cover a large part of the North Coast (São Vicente, Porto Moniz) and West Coast (Calheta and Ponta do Sol) of Madeira. It will start and finish in the municipality of São Vicente and pass through the largest plateau on Madeira Island, located at an altitude of 1580 metres, Paul da Serra. All participants will be challenged by the steep climbs and will be treated to beautiful landscapes, both by the sea and by the mountains.
