| Description: | The Aldridge 10K is a cherished community event set in Aldridge, West Midlands. The course is known for its picturesque surroundings and a supportive atmosphere, perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers. Participants will enjoy the thrill of running through a well-marked route with safety measures in place, and volunteers from the local running club provide encouragement throughout the race. Each participant will receive a goodie bag containing a t-shirt, medal, and a beer token (for those aged 18 and over). Fun children's races will also be conducted prior to the 10K, ensuring a family-friendly environment and celebrating community spirit.
The course is known for being “undulating” with significant hills, often characterized as challenging and featuring a “sting in the tail” during the latter stages of the race. The terrain includes both downhill starts and critical uphill segments. |
