Description:The Klingenpfadlauf is a friendly run and walk around Solingen on the historic Klingenpfad. The 70km route can be completed in full or in stages, making it suitable for both long-distance and hobby runners and walkers. The event emphasises shared experience.

The eighth stage of the Klingenpfadlauf, from Widdert to Oelmühle (Haasenmühle), involves a hilly forest section, a steep meadow section at Hintenmeiswinkel, and then leads via Lache into the Weinsberger Bachtal. The path follows the stream valley to the historic Wipperkotten. This official course description contains outdated information, as the distance extends to the "Altes Freibad Aufderhöhe" (KM 51.7).
