Description:The Klingenpfadlauf is a friendly run and walk around Solingen on the historic Klingenpfad. The 70km route can be completed in full or in stages, making it suitable for both long-distance and hobby runners and walkers. The event emphasises shared experience.

The eleventh stage of the Klingenpfadlauf leads from Lübeckerstraße (S-Bahn stop) to Heidberger Mühle. The penultimate stage runs on the road to the S-Bahn underpass, then left through streets and into the open countryside. Through a hollow way, gently ascending, the railway line is crossed and Caspersbroich Castle is reached via the Caspersbroicher Weg. After crossing Ittertalstraße, Heidberger Mühle is reached.
