Description:The Klingenpfadlauf is a friendly run and walk around Solingen on the historic Klingenpfad. The 70km route can be completed in full or in stages, making it suitable for both long-distance and hobby runners and walkers. The event emphasises shared experience.

The twelfth stage of the Klingenpfadlauf leads from Heidberger Mühle to the finish line at the Klingenmuseum (above Gräfrather Marktplatz). The last stage runs upstream through the Ittertal, past various Kotten, the Ittertal outdoor pool and the fairytale forest. After gentle climbs and Bausmühle, the participants reach the meeting point under the bridge on Oberhaaner Straße and run together to Gräfrather Marktplatz, up the stairs around the church to the finish.
