Taking place in the hugely popular seaside village of Abersoch, on the stunning Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, this 13.1 mile half marathon is a gem of an event. The course is stunning, predominately on roads, but with an exhilarating final kilometer along Abersoch Beach to a lively crowd at the finish. Drink stations along the course that sweeps through the villages of Llanengan, Llangian and Sarn Bach, with professional support throughout the event.
The Menter Rabar Torchlight 2.2km Beach Run is a unique event on Abersoch beach, taking place at 7:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring torches and glowsticks to light up the shoreline during this feel-good run. 100% of the entry fee supports Menter Rabar, a local charity project. |
