| Description: | Join us for the Frome Running Festival, a new event to RunThrough, and RunThrough’s first event in Somerset! We’d love you to join us for our 5k, 10k and Half Marathon Running Festival around Frome Town Centre, starting and finishing on the Old Showfield. All courses start and finish on the Old Showfield, Frome’s biggest open green space, and head out into the town’s picturesque historic centre, with closed road routes throughout. This Run Britain/UKA licensed, officially measured race is open to runners of all abilities, and is well established in the community from previous organisers.
The Frome Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race. The course takes runners through rural, residential, and town centre streets, culminating in a downhill finish through the heart of Frome. Participants will receive a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, post-race refreshments, and free race photos. |
