The full marathon takes runners along the spectacular Great Wall in Huangyaguan, threading through local villages. It is known as one of the world's most challenging marathons due to its hilly routes and inclusion of 5,164 steps on the Wall. The surface consists of gravel, asphalt, and bricks. Participants must be at least 18 years old. The race has an 8-hour cutoff time. |
