| Description: | The Hoad Hill Harriers Xmas Pudding 10K is a festive running event held in Ulverston, Cumbria. The race starts on the road between the clubhouse car park and The Bay Horse Restaurant, following a flat and fast PB course that weaves through Ulverston and down towards the coast road, entering and leaving the Conishead Priory grounds before looping back to finish in front of the clubhouse. The event also includes a 1 Mile Fun Run. Prizes are awarded for the top three male and female finishers, as well as the first in all Vet Categories from V40. Team prizes are also awarded, with the first three counting (club vests must be worn). All fun runners receive medals, and all 10k finishers receive mementos. Minimum age for the 10k is 15. The fun run for under 8s must be accompanied by an adult. Parking, changing, toilet facilities, and refreshments are available on site.
The Christmas 10K is a flat and fast road race starting near the clubhouse car park and the Bay Horse Restaurant. The course weaves through Ulverston, then heads towards the coast road before entering the picturesque grounds of Conishead Priory. Runners exit the priory at its main top entrance and loop back to finish in front of the clubhouse, making it an excellent course for achieving personal bests. |
